"Trevor Daniels over the past five years has helped us develop an effective and accessible computer version of our research paradigm; Virtual Week.
We are using Virtual Week in our ongoing prospective memory research… Despite the need for a reliable and valid measure of prospective memory,
other researchers were not attracted to using the original board game because the measure was not flexible and recording data was relatively
cumbersome and time consuming. In contrast, Trevor’s computer version has produced a measure with an array of flexible options for testing
many variations in research design. Importantly, the software is very accessible and the challenging task of systematically recording data
is automated. This has made the task much more attractive to other researchers, and different versions of the measure are now being used in
ongoing research in University laboratories in Australia, USA, UK, Germany and Japan. Virtual Week has been the primary measure in several
recent studies in top ranking international scientific journals. A constant factor in the success of the development of Virtual Week has been
the excellent service provided by Trevor Daniels. In each successive research project, we identify another feature to include which permits us
to investigate another aspect of prospective memory. Each time Trevor has listened carefully and converted often vague ideas into user-friendly,
workable software. The changes are all made with minimum of fuss and in a most timely manner, and the ongoing support has been first class."
